Engaging team building activities for employees that build community and camaraderie both virtually and in person.
If employee engagement is a priority for you, you’ll want to consider team-building. Not only can team-building activities reduce stress by 30%, but when done regularly, they’re shown to improve both communication patterns and employee satisfaction by 50%, leading to more engaged employees. Organizations that promote collaboration are 4.5x less likely to lose their best employees.
Many of our clients come to us year after year for wellness challenges because of the team-building nature of the program. The HEAL Wellness Challenge is a team-based program where employees participate in daily wellness activities and track their progress as a team. While some of the tasks are completed individually, team members (regardless of working virtually or in-person) complete a weekly task together as a team each week. Many participants continue their weekly team meeting well beyond the wellness challenge itself, showcasing the positive impact of more connection and camaraderie.
Fun yet effective daily tasks tailored to your organization that lead to deeper connections, collaboration, and camaraderie.
GET STARTED TODAYOnce you decide to run a wellness challenge with us, you can choose to let employees build their own teams or you can place employees on specific teams with colleagues they might not usually engage with.
As employees spend 4, 8 or 12 weeks together, they foster connection, feel less lonely, and build deeper relationships with people they might not otherwise connect with. Time and again, participants tell us that one of the best parts of the wellness challenge was getting to know more of their colleagues.

Lunch and learns or virtual wellness workshops are also a great way to bring your employees together. When done in person, you can order a healthy lunch and have employees chat for a few minutes before the session begins. One particular way to bolster camaraderie with a lunch and learn is to host an event based on a specific event, celebration or theme. For example, many of our clients will host our ‘Healthy Heart, Healthy You Through Nutrition’ lunch and learn for Heart Health month. Others will host our ‘Balancing Hormones, Naturally’ for International Women’s Day. Further still, many of our clients will host a specific mental heatlh session like ‘Mental Health & Wellbeing 101’ in May for mental health month.
