While it’s now been several years that employees’ mental health is more at the forefront for organizations, 91% of companies still plan to invest more in mental health in the workplace in 2024 and beyond. This makes sense as 74% of workers say their mental health at work is poor (40%) or fair (34%).
Employees put significant value on mental health in the workplace, as findings showed that the majority of employees (79%) prioritize their work well-being more than getting a promotion (43%) or a raise in salary (36%).
We are excited to announce a new lunch and learn series for mental health in the workplace with our resident Psychologist, Nicole Legg. This is a 4-part lunch and learn series (available in-person in the Vancouver area or virtually everywhere else) to dive deep into supporting employees’ mental health. Each session is one hour, including a Q&A, and is done in a workshop style, with employee participation and real-life examples and exercises throughout.
When you decide to run this lunch and learn series on mental health in the workplace with us, we will provide you with ready-to-go promotional materials so that it’s as hands-off for you as possible. Then, we’ll also provide a session recording (if done virtually) for any employees who missed the session. Here’s what your employees will learn:
Once you’ve decided to book the series, we’ll select dates together and create promotional materials for you. If it will be done virtually, we’ll provide a recording of the session to you and a copy of the slides. Afterward, we’ll also summarize the feedback survey responses for you.
