Summer is soooo close! We had a taste of it last weekend here in Toronto and that’s all it took for everyone to be out in sundresses, shorts and sandals to get their first tan of the season.
Tomorrow also happens to be the first big long weekend of the summer – MAY TWO FOUR! Now, if you’re a typical Ontarian, you’re likely heading up to a cottage for the weekend. Alright, back to this delicious drink. I think it is a perfect afternoon refreshment and because of the ingredients, is also be a great hangover cure! The mint is a natural herb that will settle your stomach, and the cucumber is incredibly hydrating, along with having ‘cooling’ properties, which according to Chinese Medicine, helps pull heat from the body and reduce any inflammation.
