We just experienced what felt like a decade of rain here in Vancouver – I think it was only a week – and I know that it took a hit on my energy, but not the same way that it would have if I didn’t have a number of other ‘energy boosting’ techniques in my daily routine.

Given your feedback on wanting help with your energy, I want to tell you about one of my absolute fave products for energy: Greens+ Extra Energy! This is the original Greens+ with added ingredients for a natural energy boost.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup pumpkin seeds
  • ¼ cup hemp hearts
  • 5 pitted Medjool dates
  • 2T raw cacao
  • 1T coconut oil
  • 1 scoop Greens+ Extra Energy Cappuccino
  • 2T water + more if it's not sticking together

Directions:

  1. In a food processor, mix pumpkin seeds with hemp hearts.
  2. Blend until seeds are chopped but not a flour.
  3. Add in Medjool dates, 2T raw cacao, and coconut oil and mix again.
  4. Add in the Greens+ Extra Energy powder and the water and mix again.
  5. It should have formed a sticky consistency, but if it won't stick together, add more water
  6. Roll into 9-10 small balls.
  7. -2 of these are the perfect afternoon pic me up! (Store in freezer.)
