Roasted Brussel Sprouts

If you’re like me, eating Brussel sprouts growing up was a challenge, to put it politely. I will say that all this changed when I learned about ROASTED Brussel Sprouts. They are now a staple in my kitchen. Sometimes I have them plain with olive oil, salt and pepper, and other times I add maple syrup and balsamic vinegar too!

Ingredients:

  • 30-40 Brussels sprouts
  • 2 TBSP olive oil
  • ½ tsp Herbamere or salt & pepper
  • Optional toppings: balsamic vinegar and maple syrup

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425F
  2. Chop off ends of Brussels sprouts
  3. Remove outer layer, and cut in half
  4. Place in bowl and toss in olive oil and Herbamere
  5. Place on baking sheet lined with parchment paper
  6. Bake for 18 minutes, or until they are soft
  7. if you want them crispier, continue baking for 5-10 more minutes
